Nike: DNA of Lebron James
For the 2008-09 basketball season and the release of their new shoe 'The Six' Nike commissioned AKQA to create a digital campaign that would act as the centerpiece for Nikes' LeBron James product line. Another challenge was to make LeBron more approachable to Nikes' Asia Pacific audience who generally view his size and strength as unrelatable characteristics of his game. Our solution was to create a video series that examined his true technical, cognitive, and leadership talents on the court.
